While driving down The Gambia River and/or anchor in between the creeks/mangroves, you fish a variety of species and sizes. There are many wrecks and sandbanks to fish on. River fishing is mainly bottom fishing and sometimes a little bit of trolling when the barracuda’s are around.
River fishing is an excellent alternative when the waves are too high at sea and/or when you are sensitive for sea sickness.
